We've since gotten the eviction notice, which states a different reason than the one he gave us. The eviction papers he swore out state that we are two months behind, but I have receipts proving that we only owe for this month and that was due on the 13th, but his office was closed and there is no drop box.
We have decided to fight him and according to my lawyer we will win and probably be able to force him into an extension to allow us more time to move. I think he wants to get everyone who is not on HUD assistance out and we just happen to push back when he tried to shaft us. It's a long involved story but we are looking for another place, hopefully to buy this time.
