Man What A Mad Mad Month
We are still in the same place. Thank goodness. Apparently, our landlord was using some duplicitous dealing to try and get us out. He told us one reason ( a perfectly legal one) and put a different reason on the request for eviction that he filed with the court system.(He claimed we were in arrears, we aren't and haven't been)

So here we still are and this month the lousy git tried another tactic. Unfortunately for him, we are intelligent beings who do not frighten readily and stand up for our rights.

Sorry this update is so short but the landlord war seems to continue. I will send updates from the front line. At this point it's almost fun to try and guess what stupid human trick the man will come up with next.

It means late with the rent.

Hi girl, I want the icon. It reminds me of Wallace Shawn, so snugglable. Did you have an interview this weekend? Or is that next weekend?

Ah. Gotcha. I thought that's what it was, but I couldn't remember.

Philly's next weekend. Probably better so it idn't get pushed further back cause I'm sure this weekend's were postpoed. No word from DC yet...though that's all in my journal...along with pics from today. :)

I think the bear is one that TM Woody gave TM Jordan back when we were out of canon...perhaps when he kicked her out of the house to paint the nursery and stuff. But I loved him and made it an icon. :)

He is too adorable.

I'm sitting here trying to keep TM Becca from going nuts waiting for TM Michael's mun to answer so she can play with him.

I though if I actually like checked my original journal it might be a good thing

As you can tell I'm too lazy to log in as myself.

Becca would love to be doing just that very thing with Michael but when his mun left she had just said hi.

TM Jordan might want to go read TM Garret's post for today. He could use a little TLC, cause he's feeling really small right now.

Oh yeah. Thankfully schools were out so our crowds were down a little...I guess there are still parents who try to take the day to supervise.

I get teased by friends about being overprotective with my son, but I always know where he is and who he's with.

Good for you. I wish more parents were like that. We've got one group we're about to have to ban because they'll come and just sit after the mall closes before the bus comes. Some will get a drink...usually oe or two get $1 doughnuts and water. They've grafitied the men's restroom and will routinely leave all their stuff on the table to run out and catch the bus. Unfortunately, without a "no loitering" sign, we can't kick them out. :(

In NC a merchant can refuse service to anyone, they don't need a no loitering sign.

I used to manage a little food place in a mall and we had those types all the time. I hated to see them come, they never had enough money and would take up all the tables just hanging out. I finally had mall security bounce them one night and came out to find a big concrete flower pot from beside the mall front door tossed through my car windshield.

Ugh. Yeah...there are enough stabbings at the mall we pretty much just put up with them. And we couln't "prove" it was them who grafitied the bathroom...because we don't know exactly when it was done.

My favorite one of the past week was the guy I talked about in my journal. "I got no money. You give me coffee." Um, NO. Not when you're wearing a shearling (sheerling?) coat and new Timberlands. I will give you an application.

Mmmhmm. When we wouldn't give him coffee, he headed across the street to Target and the mall. I wonder if they'd give me stuff because I don't have any money? NOT!!!

I have been so busy with my two muses on theatrical muse that I suudenly went 'oh yeah I do have another journal' and when I looked I realized I'd left folks hanging and that not everyone knew where to look for me.

*hangs head in shame*

Sorry guys.

How are you?
