I love writing Jeannette and she will be playing a major role later on in the story. She is however very Mary Sue-ish, it comes from years of being a major fag-hag myself and the inspiration of a friend. I used baby boy cause that's what I call my sweet buddy who is really sort of the inspiration for Jack in this, not so young but still very Jack. Fortunately my baby boy's 'Garret' didn't cause him the same kind of pain.

I'm glad that folks whose opinion I respect are enjoying this one, because frankly I think it's some of my best work as far as angst goes. I have to tell you I have wept over some of the sad parts so hard, I have had to stop writing from time to time to get rid of the headache it causes. I'm keeping a box of Kleenex and some Tylenol by my computer now and soldiering on though.
